Throughout history, explorers have risked their lives and have traveled to the farthest corners of the earth and beyond, for a variety of reasons. These included everything from the spread of religion to the search for goods, claims to new land, or fame and wealth. But the truth is that exploration is part of human nature, our constant quest and obsession with asking questions and seeking answers; we have done so since our existence and will continue to do so.
